1. Booking a Stall
- Stall bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
- A booking is only confirmed once payment (if applicable) has been received.
- Stall fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organisers.
2. Stallholder Responsibilities
Stallholders must:
- Arrive and set up within the allocated times
- Remain open for the duration of the market unless otherwise agreed
- Trade only within the allocated pitch
- Keep their stall area clean, tidy, and safe
3. Goods and Trading Standards
- All goods sold must comply with relevant UK laws and regulations.
- Food stallholders must follow food hygiene regulations and hold any required certifications.
- The sale of illegal, offensive, or counterfeit items is strictly prohibited.
4. Insurance and Liability
- Stallholders are responsible for their own Public Liability Insurance (where required).
- The organisers accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to stallholder property.
- Stallholders are responsible for any damage caused by their stall or activities.
5. Health & Safety
- Stallholders must comply with all health and safety instructions given by organisers.
- Electrical equipment must be safe and suitable for public use.
- The organisers reserve the right to require unsafe stalls or equipment to be removed.
6. Weather and Cancellations
- Markets may be cancelled due to severe weather or circumstances beyond our control.
- In such cases, the organisers will make reasonable efforts to notify stallholders as soon as possible.
- Refunds or roll-over arrangements will be at the organisers’ discretion.
7. Behaviour and Conduct
- Stallholders must behave respectfully towards the public, volunteers, and other traders.
- Aggressive, discriminatory, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.
- The organisers reserve the right to ask stallholders to leave if these terms are breached.
8. Photography and Promotion
- The organisers may take photographs or videos at the event for promotional purposes.
- Stallholders may appear in such material unless they request otherwise in advance.
9. Changes to Terms
The organisers reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updated versions will be made available to stallholders.
10. Acceptance
By booking and attending a stall pitch, stallholders confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
